It was 1948 when Harry and Esther Snyder opened their first fast food restaurant with the innovative concept of drive up service and a two way speaker box for taking orders at the corner of Garvey and Francisquito in Baldwin Park. The San Bernardino freeway off-ramp forced a move across the street in 1954 where the new replica of that building stands today. One hundred square feet is all there is. They no longer serve hamburgers at this site, but they do serve up a lot of pleasant memories.
