I made the drive so you won’t have to. The geographic center of the State of California is located 22 miles east of Raymond, 9.89 miles south east of Bass Lake and 14 miles from Oakhurst. It is the center of the state and it is also close to the middle of nowhere. It seemed like 250 miles on a windy dirt road. Interesting, but not recommended. Specifically it is located at 37°13′47″N and 119°30′34″W.
